OK, I'll buy that, but the scant information in the description, coupled with the "original price" listed points to "full of it."

  3. Guess we can't all live in Funkytown. We still have Rodeos, Wild West Shows & honor our heros.

  6. I just see another poorly written auction listing by a new seller with only 3 transactions. I offered an explanation or clarification for his/her claim on how the hat has been used. That's all.

The part up there where I wrote, "OK, I'll buy that?"

    That's me agreeing with you.

Why you got defensive concerning your heroes mystifies me.

Right on! Attended the small local rodeo a couple of weeks ago. Looking forward to NFR in Las Vegas next month. The poster is from the annual Lone Pine film festival.[IMG]

I don't disagree with anyone here, but I love celebrating the old West.

  10. I don't see this seller "shoveling" anything or having some felonious intent as has been implied. I apologize.

That's a nice one, and in my size. Great score, she's a beauty.

I'm thinking teens to the 20s. if i remember correctly. the founder of the hat shop passed in 26, but I'll have to do more research when it arrives [IMG]

I bought a Marathon for my son I found at a antique mall. The name was Airliner on the sweat. Do we know anything about the decade? I have searched high and low, this page and Google with no results. The "airliner" looks just like a whippet. The logo and sweat look identical.
