Thanks David. yes.. it’s fun to try and clean these up. I’m not terribly concerned with the patch of nibbles under the brim. But it sure looks like a hole clear through on the crown. Wouldn’t have too much to loose to try out some techniques Robert and others have posted on here.Beautiful color combo on that one, Joe. Will you do the work yourself? Try and fill those holes? A later model 7X CB, nice size, sold for $316. Of interest: 55 watchers. I don’t keep track, but this seems like the most watchers I have seen in a while.

Here we go again!!! Good thing this was a project/beater! One of these days they are gonna do this to me on a rare straw or bowler and I won’t be so OK with it.
Good News though.. what I was assuming was a hole clear through the felt of the crown is actually some stuck on crud. Might be able to clean up! Won’t have to put my attempted hole filling skills to the test.

I’m mystified by this hat—apparently a Stetson 25 OR. It looks nice on the outside but the Imperiale name and bad printing on a black sweat look like something from the 1970s? Can anyone shed some light on what this is? Thanks
