The Sahara is a hold out in staying in its 1960s era or too cheap to redecorate depending on your viewpoint. Imperial Palace is laid out so badly you constantly find people wandering the halls as lost as you are.:rage:

Not to mention that the Imperial Palace's elevators are the slowest west of the Atlantic Seaboard.:rage:

I'm heading there Wednesday for a wedding. Travelocity has good deals too. $390 per person for flight and hotel 5 days/4 nights. I heard several people tell me to check out the Venetian while there. We're going to see David Copperfield, Phantom of the Opera, and Cirque du Soleil.

Have never been to Vegas myself, but always thought "The Sands", where Dean, Frank and Sammy played was the epitome of early 60's SWANKY COOL!!!

Palace Station. I liked it was out of the way. Also the Rio. I used to live 5 hours from Vegas, spend the weekend gambling and drinking. I'd only get about 4 hours of sleep during my whole stay. Drive back home in a daze, go to work on Monday in a daze. But that was a lifetime ago.
