Bought this GW 38-1711-P second hand recently, size 44. I don't think it got much wear as I am still trying to break it in. I have to say it is the nicest jacket I own...absolutely amazing craftsmanship.

I recently received my 1937 HLB Corp A-2 from John. It's perfection.
I'm a 30s nerd, so I have an A-1, and an SAT A-2 on order.

His gorgeous 1933 Werber A-2 is on my list as well.

I really like the Rough Wear 27752 contract but for me now, the Dubow 20960 contract suits me a lot better and the fit also is excellent.

IMHO, John makes the finest A-2 possible, ( I have his Dubow 27798 and Rough Wear 27752).All others of his contracts ( seeing his photos) are the finest amongst the finest repros.
ELC makes the finest original makers B-3.
Here totally in line with Andrew and others.
Jon from Aces High makes the best best Irvins.. ( even if out of topic).
Thx to all of them.

Jon is still producing , but slowed down a bit, only approx 10 jackets/year.
Grab yours ASAP, it will have vintage collectors value very soon...

Fully agree about the Rough Wear B-10 offered via ELC.The best B-10 repro.
ELC markets them in Europe. All ELC B-10 are made in Japan by Buzz Rickson's
Great jacket though.

I have been in touch with Jon of Aces High. He is still making Irvins, but is limiting the number so he can work on other projects as well.

To clarify, you mean that the B10s sold as ELC are actually made by Buzz, but badged as ELC? Is that the case with otherf jackets? I did wonder, as there always seemed to be options missing from the Buzz range they sell. I thought they just - as main EU supplier - picked and chose what they wanted to stock (i.e. stuff that didn't compete with lines they do of their own).
