It was remiss of me not to post the Brummel’s here when I first got it from you.
I know how you love homburgs. I think to me, you will always be the Homburg guy. Just like @johnnycanuck is the Akubra guy, @quikrick is the Pork Pie guy, @Blare is the stingy guy (wrt brims!) and @Daniele Tanto is the heathered felt guy. Just shows how first impressions stick. I suspect there might be a few members who joined in the last year who think of me as the Hornskov guy.
Gary, you are THE Hornskov guy :)

Here’s the Dobbs in the sunlight. So bright I couldn’t keep my eyes open.

I've been doing quite well with the homburgs recently. Let's see what came in.

First one is this one. I certainly don't need another black homburg, but I was intrigued.
Borlesso homburg in black. Size 57 (I think, because it's too wide for me) with the brim at 6cm and the crown at 10cm at the center dent. Sold by Tolstrup Jensen in Randers, Denmark. No labels inside the hat. Just a stamp with the name Helmuth Bech, Adelgade 8, Randers (likely the owner). Couldn't find out anything about either Tolstrup Jensen or Helmuth Bech. Older hat, judging by the material used for the liner. It is also probable the brand name was an attempt to cash in on the Borsalino brand. The hat is nice enough though, with a lovely hand to the felt.

It wasn't the Borlesso that caught my eye at first. It was this one.
Sools homburg in black. I've never been disappointed by a Sools hat and I'm not now. There are some oddities about this one though. The hat is a size 56 with the brim at 5,5cm and the crown at 11cm at the center dent. The felt is gorgeous. Let's see the hat first and I'll mention the oddities in the second post.

Sools homburg part II

First of all the hat is dated: 24 janv 1939. The sweatband has a clear stamp: manufactured by James Cower Ltd. Seems clear enough, doesn't it? However the sweatband also mentions underneath the Sools logo: fabriqué par Laubin. So who made the hat? Was it English made or French?
The label underneath the sweatband is in French and looks to be a mirrored L (for Laubin). The size label is also the same as the ones I found in another Laubin hat. So I'm inclined to think Laubin was indeed the maker. Why the elaborate James Cower stamp though. Another oddity is that the crown part of the liner isn't sewn in straight. A rare occurance in a Sools hat.

Thanks to John (@moehawk ) this fabulous Dalton landed on these northern shores. Rest assured: it is not alone.
Dalton homburg/camber style hat in a natural colour they do so well and depending on the light varies between light grey to sand. One could argue that this isn't strictly a homburg, but a fedora with a curled brim and it certainly isn't as stiff or formal as you'd expect from a homburg but I'll post it here anyway if just to illustrate how wide the variety of the style can be.
Very soft felt which creases wonderfully. Weighs just over 100 grams. Love it.

Last one for now.
Léon homburg in grey (called "cloud" on the label). It was sold to me as a "large hat" , but it turned out to be a size 56 with the brim at 5,5cm and the crown at 10cm at the center dent. A nice sleek looking homburg. Léon was located on 21 Rue Daunou on the sit of the "American Dream" pub, bar and restaurant. The sweatband has a stamp of Jan Chapelier, which was located on 14 Rue de Roma in Paris. Neither of them is the maker of the hat though. The label inside the hat betrays it as being English made, almost certainly by Moores, who as we've seen also made hats for Berteil.

The Moores label (more square in shape that the other English manufacturers)

In connection with the Ask a Question thread I mentioned this Lee Homburg and decided to wear it today. By doing some digging in my email archive and the FL search function, I realised I haven't worn this beauty since I bought it in December 2020. Nor have I posted it here, so better late than never.

Wonderfully soft, chocolate brown felt, 10cm crown height to the front crease, just over 5cm brim, matching ribbon and bow.

The sweat is very soft and smooth.

Luckily for me, a previous owner decided to stretch its 7 1/8 size to a 7 1/4, hence the lack of Sweatband seam.

Thankfully, they re-attached the sweat bow.
