How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I just picked up this little red headed stepchild at the post office today. To my huge surprise it is the most comfortable leather jacket I have and the tailoring is for me, xlnt. For a hundred bucks I'm shocked.

I also have a new pair of 14" Wesco Harness boots en route and an Aero HH w/ shearling lining.

This one's the shocker though. Aside from being thick and soft it has no signs of wear; zero.

Label says San Diego Leather Jacket Factory / Made in USA / 48

No other marks in it to indicate jacket model (or anything else) and when I look at the SD site they don't have anything that quite matches it so I'm guessing it's been around for a while though I'd have guessed it to be new. I can *kind of* see why it may be an older jacket that hasn't been worn much and it's that the P2P and shoulders fit like a hug from mom but the waist?

Not so much.

If you know what donuts taste like then this may not be the right jacket. If you know what time they're served piping hot at the local Crispy Creme it's def not the right choice. Hem is 20" if you measure it as generously as possible and as loosely as the string tensioners allow

Yep, those are nice, I think that may have been the "prior" name of the Gibson & Barnes company (also from San Diego), who are known more for the military & Flight jackets.

CHP style - the waistband area can be a little snug for sure, does this one have side laces?

You might remember on a huge whim I recently bought an Alpha Industries NASA Mars Mission MA-1.

But I was a little concerned about how snugly it fit. So I've bought another one in the next size up.

It fits perfectly, but sadly it's a navy blue one rather than the awesomely cool golden yellow of my smaller one.

Fit pics at some point, but in the meantime;

Looking for a new horsehide jacket since I lost a ton of weight and my size 46 Addict Clothes AD-01 is too big for me now.
Narrowed it down to The Flat Head HS001 Single Rider's and Iron Heart's IHJ-54. Never handled Shinki or Himeji's chrome tanned horsehide before but I like the look of the HS001 more and the sleeves on the IHJ-54 are too long for my liking. The latter isn't as expensive though and the utility of the extra pockets is nice. All the extra zippers and tassels might be a bit too much though I'd imagine chrome tanned horsehide would more comfortable even if the patina won't look as nice.
