I have an Akubra FedIV Deluxe which has shrunk a little. I was thinking of reblocking it to get back the crown shape and height to its original state.
I don't want a repeat of my Christy's reblock wherein I almost tore the brim off. A lot of people say that Akubras can take a reblock. But is it really possible to get back the lost crown height? And how wet should the hat be to be able to stretch it properly? Does it have to be wet to the core?
