Looking for a particular configuration if it exists

I'm looking for a fedora with no wider than a 3" brim with vent holes for cooling. I want it to be wool or fur felt and durable. I do NOT want it to be crushable. I like a stiff hat because it will get rained on...repeatedly.

The Akubra Angler is pretty darn close, and I may just knuckle down and get another one of those (I parted with my first one).

But does anybody know of another fedora that meets my criteria?

many you just need to look and ask questions of each hat in particular, as far a vent holes Akubras have many hats

I have both Coober Pedy and Coolabah Akubras,they would do well.

If your looking for a felt hat with vent eyelets then you can't really do better than Akubra.......loads of styles, brim widths & colors & an excellent quality/price ratio,.....ticks all the boxes. The 'Angler' is a good no frills, outdoor hat but a fedora it ain't

I know back in the day companies like http://hatsdirect.com/index.html and https://www.everythingaustralian.com.au/default.asp would add eyelets to hats upon request. Maybe contact them and see if they still offer the service. Worth asking.

Have you considered Akubra's military slouch hat? It has a good size brim & vents.
