Up for grabs is a 1955 Motorola Black and White table top television set. It powers up and works although it needs some tune-up for the horizontal/vertical control. Black metal cabinet with gold accents. All original. I recommend that the original paper capacitors be replaced and a fuse be installed for safety. Of course you could gut it and install a modern flat panel monitor in place of the cathode tube. I've no room for it anymore and I paid next to nothing for it so I'm giving it away. The only catch is that you have to come and pick it up; I won't ship it. It's located in Silicon Valley not far from San Jose. Please message me if you are interested. I also have a 1970s Pioneer receiver (powers up but no sound anymore) for free and a 1950s suitcase turntable by Webcor. All the tubes work but the turntable needs replacing so it's also free. Help me spring clean and get some good old stuff for zilch! Thanks.
Sorry that there are no local Loungers interested. It's on Ebay now: 1950s Motorola table top television set. I will be listing some other vintage items soon. Please check back. Cheers! Sefton
