I read where they were doing six episodes of it, but forgive me if I missed an airing date. Is that released yet?

After doing a quick search on TNTs website for L.A. Noir, I found this page, there should be a video that plays. I cant see it, not sure if its because I am using a Mac or its just not working in general.

That is unfortunate, at least I know it wasn't just my computer now.

    Looks cool.

At first when I saw the title I thought it was going to be a movie based o the video game. Go figure.

    Cheers!

Me too, but since the game wasn't all that bad I thought "maybe it's going to be interesting, as long as they don't keep the ending the same."
I love the colors already so this might be a good series.
Maybe 6 episodes is to see what kind of interest it gets. I hope so.
I'd hate to have another Crime Story happen...:(

A lot of big productions start with a short, six-episode season to test the market... Twin Peaks did it, as did The Walking Dead. I should imagine if it's a hit it'll spawn a longer second season...

Maybe so. But then again, will they run out of script ideas too soon?
    Only time will tell.

To keep the thread alive, I have read recently that the title of the show has been changed to Lost Angels. I guess Rockstar, creators of L.A. Noire the video game, were having quite a hissy fit about the name and threatened to sue the pants off of everyone involved in the TNT show if they continued to use the name L.A. Noir.

The Lost Angels page on TNT's site is now reporting a Summer 2014 premier.
