Great fit and colour. I've resolved to getting a B-6 in seal in the near future. I love my D-1, it's been a fantastic jacket this winter, just a bit lighter than an Irvin and ideal for the chilly, though perhaps not Polar Vortex-strength, weather...

D-1's the only shearling I need Sloan, I've not missed the Irvin type since I sold it. Snowbound here in the South West today..took the dog out to play in the white stuff instead of going to work..D-1 on of course........

No snow in Glasgow but the cold gets into your bones up here, it's a numbing, damp chill that's hard to shake. The Irvin's great because I can buckle the waist belt and trap the warm air in. I also feel the leather-backed Irvin collar is better designed for keeping the wind out without having to be buckled up.

Welcome aboard. Nice jacket and the fit is nailed? In what part of the world will it be fighting the cold?

Troutdale Oregon, where the problem isn't so much the cold, but the wind!
