Need help dating a Stetson. Porkpie?

I'm not sure if a teardrop crown is called a porkpie too.

Here is the inside. The sweatband looks black, but it's dark brown.

When dating a Stetson, be sure to bring it a bouquet of roses from time to time. Wear a dash of cologne. Always hold open the car door for your Stetson. Oh, and don't wait more than two days to call.

Give it four days. Stetson's are hot and know it. You do not want to look desperate.

I'd say late 80's going by the sweatband and the liner.

I think it was made within the last five years. I have one, purchased three years ago new, with the SAME type of liner and tag and of a similar color. I got it at some hat shop in Pasadena. Now, if the liner is glued, then it's probably of the same vintage.

I didn't think it was too old because it had the same Stetson pin as my Downs model and the feather was still in good condition. The liner is glued. I'd like to get another one in grey or black, but I can't find one online. I should be able to find one somewhere if you if you got yours three years ago. I'll keep looking.
