Need help identifying a hat.

Sorry about the links, I've been having trouble with the photos. Rediscovered this fedora while helping my dad move stuff from his shed. I can't seem to find any kind of identification on it. Nothing but the "Westerner", and nothing under the sweatband.

It's a bit odd to have liner art like that in a short brim wide ribbon fedora. I wonder if the liner may have come from another hat.

That came through my mind. If nothing comes up, I can try going to the store, which is in oklahoma. Maybe that'll turn up some results.

Identifying A Hat

Hi everybody!

I just wanted some help to get the name of this type of hat :

I've only seen it on captain beefheart's head,hence the pictures

Well, I know that the guy in the photo is Captain Beefheart, anyway! (Real name Don Van Vliet. Passed away recently. I have a few of his albums on vinyl around here somewhere.)
Anyway, I would guess that the hat is a gaucho style hat. Some call it the "Zorro hat." It has an exceptionally tall crown, though, even for a gaucho.

I recognized the "zorro signature" but the crown seemed so big indeed,I thought it was a different type of hat.

yeah the captain has been dead for a few months now.Nobody really noticed his death...haha I always have the spotlight kid,trout mask replica and lick my decals off around me,not in vinyl thought^^

I still have Trout Mask and a few others on vinyl.
