So I take a peak at Wikipedia's page on A-2 jackets and I see a list of manufacturers with an name I've never seen before. P. Goldsmith and Sons, according to Wiki, made 25 jackets before Security Aviation Togs. I did a bit of research and it looks like they made baseball equipment; gloves, balls, bats. Boy, I'd like to know more!

Yes, they did indeed make 25 A2 jackets under the US Air Corps under the 31-1897 contract from the 1931 fiscal year.
