Panama Weather

I've been following the great Panama threads of late. I am not able (alas) to buy a Borsolino or a Montecristo but happily I like Bally hats. We were at my local hatterie in Nevada City (The Hat Shoppe, great shoppe!) and I bought the Bally pictured here.

It reminds me of my first panama, which I wore happily for 20 years before it got sat on and donated to the drama department at the school where I was teaching (they were doing "Guys and Dolls" and got some of my worn out bow ties in the bargain).

Now I need to get another straw hat, since I don't have any here in Shanghai (my current panama is in a storage unit in Florida, alas).
