Cappellificio Cervo Bantam. Size 58 (a tight one, so more a 57) Made probably in the seventies
It has the typical proportions of the Italian hat of that era
The color is called: "Ucraina" and the felt is finish with short soft hair called "Loden". Color is really interesting
The felt is thick with overwelted brim and it is a mix of furs and wool
Hat arrived until now used in excellent conditions
Proportions: Brim at 5,5 cm. Crown al 11 cm and the ribbon is 3,5 cm.
It will be in the classified soon!

Panizza Royal Sportsman in heather felt size 59 Made during the seventies at Panizza historical factory in Ghiffa on the Lago Maggiore. It was an high end hat, see the lining and the quality of the felt
The color is called: "Cesena" and the felt is finish with short hair as you can see in the picture,
Felt is soft and with a touch of "bristly" and there are two seams on the over welted brim
The felt is called on FL "heather" because it change color when you see it from different angles and the felt is a mixture of fur and wool.
Proportions are: Brim at 4,5 cm. Crown al 10,5 cm and the ribbon is 3 cm.
Panizza produced excellent felt, no more felt like this and I'm very sad about that.

I saw that it was in the 90s in Seattle today. You guys don't get that kind of heat often. Nice weave on that Hemp.Here I am in my new Stetson Inwood hemp straw. Summer is finally in full swing in the Pacific Northwest.

Wonderful Berg Brent. I do think that is bone felt, it looks dead on to my bone Lords hat from NW. Especially in the first image. Love the lines, looks good with the gray ribbon.This came to me courtesy of @NewJack:
Stemwinder Custom Hats 100X...lords hat?
The felt is western stiff, but the hand is incredibly soft and the condition is immaculate. When I first put it on my heart sank as it was way too small. I turned the sweat out looking for tags and found a felt reducer pad and weather stripping fore and aft. With the reducers removed the hat fit great! I thought the felt was Silverbelly but upon seeing it in person it looks more bone. Fine by me. It’s a great hat! Thanks Doc!
