Thanks - I just did a quick fix tonight (since the brim was flatter and much higher on one side than other), but I want to do something different with the brim since I have another hat that's almost identical. I am considering a curled-edge for the brim - still a western look, but different from my other "Gus" hat.

My Stetson 5X craigslist bargain - it just needed the brim reshaped (due to shipping or storage) and now it is good to go. I am guess-timating a 1980s vintage.

Nice looking hat, but the silver belly sure gets dirty easily, and I wish I knew how to avoid that.

G. & Fllo Borsalino Qualita Extra-Extra Superiore Bowler + Box, size 7 1/4. This one had some major dents but I was able to work them out fairly well with steam. The box has a shipping date stamp of 3/31/31. More details in the Borsalino Brotherhood and Bowler - Derby threads.

Little worn down Dobbs (?) top hat. I can't find the make on the hat itself, so I'm going with the box... The interior says "Paris" but I don't know that Dobbs ever set up shop out there.

That seems to be the general opinion around the lounge with these hats. I just got mine yesterday and I am EXTREMELY impressed with the quality.
