Anyone can serve you a expresso here. It's not a exclusive thing in stores like Starbucks (They are present in Portugal but I prefer a normal expresso anywhere and it's a lot cheaper. You can make almost everything Starbucks have in your house for 1/10 of the price they charge).Joao, "Barista" in America has come to mean that young guy or lady that works at a coffee house, such as Starbucks, and makes/serves your espresso.
