This car has to be one of my all time favorites, 1954 Kaiser Darrin.

Ooh.....

Guys, I go tingly looking at classic, vintage cars - I love them. The pictures you posted are wonderful. Hubby and I own 3 classic Truimph 1960/70's cars and would drive an old car rather than new anyday. At least you have to drive them properly and have some basic mechanical knowledge! Here are pictures of our oldest car - a 1967 Triumph Herald 1200cc convertible - lovely. We are camping with her in May;:) The chap pictured is my scruffy hubby - apologies but I have to put him in an armlock to make him wear a suit!

The Porsche 550 Spyder. My favorite car.
There's no way I'm going through life without getting one of these.

There were so many wonderful cars produced in the '30 and '40s, many shown here and not a few I would love to drive/own. However, I think my favourites were produced in the late '50s and early '60s. Here is a 1950 Maserati 450S from the Concours in West Plam Beach.

But, it's a hard choice between the Morgan and the Allard J2X

Both are available new and are relatively unchanged since their introduction. I've been partial to the Allard ever since first learning of it in Clive Cussler's Shock Wave. Oh to have Dirk Pitt's garage!

This is a pic of a 1958 Fiat 1200 Roadster (Transformabile). I own one of these in white and hopefully will finish restoring it this summer:

But if you asked for my all-time favorite, it would probably be the Mercedes 300SL (aka: Gullwing) of the mid-50's:

The MB dealership in Oklahoma City has Clark Gable's personal Gullwing SL on display in the showroom and they take it to various councourse events. It's a beautiful car, complete with matching luggage. Quite a sight to see.
