I thought people that like vintage items and the history behind them would appreciate this. This highly sought after leather was on board a ship that sank in 1786 and was discovered in 1973. I attached an article with the details, but George Cleverley in London is now making items out of this leather after sitting on the ocean floor for over 200 years. It is very expensive since when it's gone - it's gone, but I had to have a piece of this history. I bought a Key Ring which was only $85, LOL, direct from Cleverley. The smell is amazing ! Of course I'm not using it but have it as a display with other vintage items:
