Let me look, I might accidentally have a spare fat boy. I know I sold one of them not too long back, and have one that I'm using, but I think I may have another stashed away.

Tried Burma Shave's soap and wasn't impressed. Guess I'll stick with the VDH until my Col Conk's gets here.

For right now I'm trying to get a routine down so I can actually know what I'm doing! Preferably WITHOUT cutting my own throat in the process! But thanks! I am enjoying my new Omega Badger brush a lot!

No problem sir.
In my (limited) experience, it's harder to get a great lather with a soap than with a cream. At least for me. A key component to a great shave is the medium we use to facilitate the shave, which is lather. Obviously, razor skills are a necessity as well, losing an ear or something is tremendously undesirable ( unless you are working that totured artist angle, or going for a section 8).
The offer stands sir....

How do you like that Lucky Tiger balm Tony?
I've seen others using Lucky Tiger products, but I have yet to see amy of them at the local stores to try it. Does it have a scent to it?

Have you smelled the Lucky Tiger hair tonics? This one at least had the same aroma as the hair tonic. They have their own unique scent, not too sweet, not too strong, just really light and clean. This was my first shot with the aftershave, but I have used the hair tonics for several years now. PM me your mailing address and I'll zip this bottle to you, I can pick up another at the local barber supply, which is the only brick and mortar store that I know of (locally) that carries their products.

Aside from the sacrificial bumps from the Quattro, I am getting better with the DE. Boy, I LOVE that Omega brush!

Yep, once you "even out" your face initially with a DE, your shaves will just get closer and easier. You just have to deal with some spots for a week or thereabouts.
Can we get a photo of the razor you are using?
