A terrific dark comedy

My favorite character; Animal. That last line of the film where they ask why Bill Holden did what he did, (help the guy escape) and The Animal says; "maybe he just wanted to steal our wire cutter" I love it!

This is a great film that used to get played on ordinary tv along with the Great Escape and the Longest Day. It's is where ordinary people became extraordinary and did extraordinary things.

The classic dilemma: i already own it on dvd but not with the extras. I hate when that happens.

I really enjoy the commentaries and behind the scenes stuff. I had the same problem when the special release of "Raging Bull" came out a couple of years ago.
