I don't actually know what date this is, beyond it being pre 1952. I imagine it to be 30s or 40s, but that's hardly very precise. Anyway, I hope these scans are of interest to some people:

That is a neat pamphlet. When looking at the pictures and reading a bit I was reminded that there is a video on You-tube that might be in German entitled something like "How Akubra Hats Are Made". If you watch that you see how the process is pretty much unchanged.

What an awesome pamphlet! Woodrow is one of my all time favourite hat makers - I've always wondered how top hats were made. :eusa_clap

Yeah, the top hat bit was probably the most enlightening bit for me too. Along with all those mad ancient penalties for making hats without the necessary training period.
