Thinking about Lost Worlds.. thoughts, experiences?

I asked for exposed zippers and the "lighter" pocket similar to his Hog Master vest. Also for a 10 Talon main zip.

Thanks for pointing that out, It’s hard to tell since they are very minor changes. I kinda like the exposed ticket pocket. I see that you got the one-piece back as well. Congrats, and good luck breaking that beast in.

I liked the ticket pocket and exposed zips on the old Indian Ranger. So asked for a couple modifications to the Speed Demon. First time getting anything from Lost Worlds and very happy.

And the oh so precious crown main zipper broke down on Day 5 of break in of this unworn (but pre-owned) jacket… Zipper tape just disintegrated right above the male pin, jacket cannot be zipped up anymore. Very frustrating. Will
certainly stay away from these crown zippers in the future.

Oh man, that is bad news. Any good tailors there that can handle such thick leathers?

There is a leather repair shop where I brought in my Langlitz and a Vanson for minor repairs before but a zipper exchange is a different beast alltogether… seen so many botched up jobs already, scared to get my jacket back with two lines of stitch holes in the front…

I would contact Lost Worlds for a replacement. They made the jacket, and it should look good after. You can put the #10 Talon or Scoville as replacement.

I fully understand your concerns. Maybe begin a new thread here with recommendations of good tailors with proven record within the EU
