First off, this will probably not be a purchase made any time soon, but I will be researching possibly as long as a year for this coat. OK, style I'm shooting for is a black coat, non-leather, something that was popular in the 40's, preferably slightly longer than a suit coat/blazer jacket. Thinking of something like a peacoat, but want something from that decade. Also, it would need to look good with a low crown stingy brim fedora, and extremely affordable, as in $50-60 or less. Is that too tall an order?
