I spotted, to possible Loungers (unlikely but), in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania last night, Tuesday, January 8th. One was inside K-Mart (sorry, but I man must make do). At a distance I saw a young man wearing an argyle pull-over sweater and what I think was a newsboy cap.
Then, in the parking lot of K-Mart, I found that a black and gray Ford custom of - I'm guessing - 1940's vintage, parked next to my modern Mustang. I saw for sale signs in the back seat, and vanity plates that I no longer remember (something about "Bob" I think). I got in my car to return a phone call, and I heard the old Ford roar to life. I tried to get out and say something, but the driver was too quick.
Did I have a close encounter?
