I've just accepted that I look like what I look like. No amount of pretending to look like a Duke is going to make me look like one. I just don't do elegance.

You do the '1950s miner on a Sunday' look very well, I'd be happy with that.

I love how proper the crown height is. It's timeless.

I suppose I'm pretty happy with that! Haha!
Not that it's going to stop me wearing a DJ at any given opportunity...

The style is more British and Aristocractic. King George VI and Douglas Fairbanks Jr. Are the main influences for this style.

Ah! Fair enough, sorry. Is the suit British?

I am not sure if it is British or American, but it is cut in an English Drape Cut, and the color is an R.A.F. Blue. It very well maybe of British origin.

Metropd.....European aristocracy or Dick Tracy - either way it's an excellent look. Suit and hat are both exemplary, and you wear them well. Great pics, too. Give a high five to your photographer.

A warm day the other day, so I ditched the waistcoat and loosened my tie...

Must not've been too hot, Eddie. You still managed a jacket.

Seriously, though, I really like the loose tie/cap combination.

Thanks dh66! I always feel better with a jacket on. I think it was about 20 centigrade so pretty warm for here!

Wow! Must be nice. It doesn't even get that cool here overnight this time of year, and high 30s during the days. No jackets.
