She didn't know what she had! I can't find a guy who shares my worldview, much less likes vintage. I HATE jeans, athletic shoes, and Packer gear. No imagination whatsoever. My very STBX hated my vintagey clothing. She hated my hats. She hated that I'd wear collared shirts when everyone else was in T's. She hated that I'd tuck my collared shirt in when all the other men wore them untucked. She hated that I loved wearing waistcoats and ties. And jackets. And wingtips when the other guys were in sneakers.
But no worries now. She is my STBX.
That is so right. But there is also a group of people who insist on wearing very strange, but let's be kind and call them anachronistic items - top hats, pince nez, spats - to a local steakhouse for a friend's birthday and they wonder why people are looking at them funny. For me there is a difference between enjoying vintage and wearing a funny looking costume. Where people draw the line on this will vary and it is also situation dependent.

I see a lot of Designs and materials in clothes that deliberately try to reflect the feel and look of older vintage original Pieces, NO one bats an eye In the shopping malls.
I like old fashioned manners - that's a vintage expression too these days.
Tell you what Adrian. Stand beside your classic car, wearing a zoot suit, accompanied by a fedora hat and blue & white correspondence shoes and you will get a reaction. Some positive, some negative and some absolutely comic.People think I'm a rich snob =(. I don't understand I buy most of my clothes from thrift stores and spend responsibly yet people judge me harshly.)

Bar one suit, I have nothing that will suit correspondent shoes.
I don't follow sports at all. I have probably served some of those players before but wouldn't have had any idea who they were, which must have been refreshing for them.Must be a Viking fan?
