We made it through with just a dusting down the Valley. Portland has a snowpocalypse!
If you own a hat with a raw unfinished brim, why not just have Mike add a whipstitch brim to one of your raw brim hats?
Thx Matt it's my fave too.
Thanks. Lookin fwd to yer new arrival.
I like your eye for color contrasts.
No more need be said.
Thanks Red! I do like a green hat!
That rake just shocked me awake.
I just spoke with a crony of mine living in Truckee, CA, where they are now up to almost 6 feet of the white stuff. He's a serious skier, but even he has cried UNCLE!!
I have a couple of AP velours. Awesome felt. Great score!
Thanks, Bobby! Sorry about that...
Love this one Bob.
Looks great on you.
Outside this morning in a vtg. Lee Adventurer early morning. It was snowy, cool and breezy this morning.
Cordova Cap for the afternoon.
Best, Eric -
Thank you Mach.
It is some pretty awesome felt. You have a big brimmed model don't you?
Both of my APDs are short brimmed, the older one, made for Disney in the 50's has a 2 1/8" brim, the other is a 60's model with 1 3/4". The older one has slightly nicer velour, but they are both very well nade hats. Can't remember off the top of my head if they made their own felt. I bet mayser does!
It has an unreeded sweatband and a $7.50 price tag, so I am thinking it is more of a late 1940s vintage.
Thanks to everyone for the nice comments on the Lamson! Its a pretty cool hat with great felt.
Every time I see this hat I ask why didn't I bought it...
