What is this hat?

Tweed? I'd wager you could find something close. Straws and Milans are more likely.

BB, once around the Internet & I came up blank. I would say it's a custom hat made for him, distressed & all. You might find an interview where he names the hat maker if asked about his hats.

Probably a custom as has been suggested.Not unlike Eastwood's westerns,As regards pencil curls here's a pic of a Stetson Revenger that Mike Miller (Northwest Hats) redid for me.

I would disagree. The crown is too tall and straight sided. A Boss is a rounded top with a relatively short crown.
