NICE. That is hard to beat, and it would take monitors sd to do it, maybe. I dont care for those paperclip zippers though, what is your thoughts on it?

My CHP has it also, I don’t mind them at all. I just don’t grab the end of the clip to pull and they work great. I like how they look too.

Vanson (Custom) Oxford in british racing green. This is the only jacket in my collection that my wife never fails to call ugly or terrible when I’m wearing it!

It’s fabulous! If my blue Enfield had that collar, I’d never take it off.

My Lost Worlds vest has a paperclip zipper as well and I while I much like them before, right now I'd happily have any of the main zippers on any of my jackets replaced with it. They're very sturdy and fun!

Leith rain and my 141 has a character growth spurt. The leather is buttery soft but indeed heavy like a Vanson. The zip out faux fur liner is pleasingly toasty in the damp cold here in the Athens of the North

Found another one at the flea a while back- a vintage horsehide Harley Sportster One Pocket jacket. Needed some repairs- someone had trashed the zipper and poked holes in the bottom to run a leather tie. Jeezus, it was a mess, but the price was right. New C&C old stock zipper and a couple of patches, and I just got it back. I've got to stop buying these Sporsters- this is number 4 hanging in my closet. Sigh.

Today...some days a jacket is for the weather or the occasion. Some days it’s just for a treat. Today i needed a treat so i pulled the old Wards Windward because i wanted to feel that feel you get when it’s just right. And that back, i love looking at it!

I have a similar addiction to one-pocket Sportsters. I have two. You can find them cheap (my last one was $100). I can't resist. Poor man's Buco J-100!!!
