Beer for me, wine for Mrs. 1m1.

Kids spent the day with their grandma....so dinner at her house this evening. Fresh turnip greens with bacon, fresh corn, cornbread, salmon patties, and home made **xtra hot pear relish compliments of mom's neighbor.

Is that similar to a dish of "guacamole” ?

Avocado, garlic, dash hot (!!!) sauce, s&p, lime juice, and Mexican sour cream. I usually add cilantro, but forgot to pick some up at the store today. Everything dumped in my mini-food processor & blended thoroughly. Used in place of guac or sour cream.

Lily ate it by the spoonful.

Apple pie was pre-empted at the last minute by triple chocolate cake (devils food with chocolate chips and hot fudge sauce) and fresh strawberries.

The pie will still make a nice breakfast tomorrow with some coffee.
