Hi One of the engineers I work with asked about getting a picture of one of the other engineers, who also has a ranch. He provided a similar picture. So, two of us have pictures of ourselves, but you really can't tell who we are. Given the NSA, it felt relevant to post it here. Later
Mine's just a pic of me enjoyin' seeing the world wearing my "walkabout hat." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mine is a photo of me, about a third of the way up the ladder on the middle smokestack of the RMS QUEEN MARY, at the 2010 Art Deco Festival. Given the amount of beverages consumed that evening, we shall not discuss the ill advised decision to climb the stack in the first place. -Max
From the Grand Re-Opening Day at Disney California Adventure when they transformed the front of the park into 1920's LA.
Thanks all! It's a great place. "Buena Vista Street" is like walking on a backlot. All done up in LA Spanish Revival with Carthay Theater (a fantastic restaurant) as the crown jewel. Sorry... off topic, but lots of great photos from that day here: https://www.facebook.com/marcus.holt.10/media_set?set=a.4079286102534.2177389.1293983767&type=3
I started this thread & I'm glad I did... Please don't ever be sorry...you make a beautiful couple. As well as all the others that have posted their images & stories behind them. Thanks to all & please keep them coming. :eusa_clap Jake
Scratch thatーI just changed my avatar and am no longer a flying pig. Although I may or may not be a swine. Depends on who you ask.
I would tell whoever took the picture, they did a poor job & cut your head off ! Unless it was a....dare I say it ????......ok I will !.... It was the " flying-pigmy" that took your picture...:eusa_doh: This is the first photo he took of me... Not too happy ...so I had him take the one you see as my avatar... The fava beans & chianti was also nice afterwards.....
The significance of mine is of such a very deep and personal nature that it would be much too emotionally taxing to divulge at this time. Sorry.
Ah, well, it's not actually me although I have a habit of wearing my shirts buttoned all the way up minus necktie. Shirts just don't look right unbuttoned to me but I find ties a bit constraining (but I do wear them for certain occasions).
