I only eat it on occasion.
As for baking, I use almond flour, as it's low carb and high protein.
I don't have a donut recipe for almond flour, but I do have a pancake one.
That's somewhat similar, minus the sugary glaze.

Well....there's a little town near here that has a butterbean festival every fall, and they always have stuff made out of butterbean flour (who knew??). We went a few years ago and I tried some chocolate chip cookies made with butterbean flour and they didn't suck nearly as bad as I expected them too. I might be willing to try a cauliflower donut. Especially if beer was involved, but I'd need all 4 quarters of it.

Butterbean flower? :puke:

Sounds pretty good.
Do you make your own almond flour or buy it somewhere?

Sent from my SGH-T959V using Tapatalk 2

I buy it at Kroger.
If I had a food processor, I could make my own.
If I can find the recipe I used last time, I'll list it on the breakfast thread.
Might take a day or so.

With the ice lately, I'll take Autumn.
Like this kind of ice...

Taken today, in the North part of our County.
Nothing stops a Jeep, although ice does stop a lot of Crown Vics, because I saw many of them spun around today. :D

You mean stinking up someone else's plate. :p
To be honest, my wife makes a side dish called "vegetable medley" that consists of cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, Cream of Mushroom soup, sour cream, french fried onions, swiss cheese, and a little pepper, all mixed together and served hot. Normally I won't touch cauliflower, broccoli, or mushrooms simply because I don't like them, but I'll stab someone with my fork if they try to take any of my vegetable medley!

Maybe. Make some and we'll check it out. :p
Take my word for it--nobody wants anything I've cooked. :D

Vegetable Medley doesn't sound too bad.

Funny, it never occurred to me to put hot sauce or mustard on vegetable medley. Now that I think about it, it's probably one of the few food items that wouldn't be improved by a suitable application of either.
Down South, hot sauce fixes everything.
Kind of like duct tape. :D
The latest trend (among several friends of mine) is Sriracha hot sauce on potato chips.
It's funny how these things get started.
Back in the 80's, my favorite snack was Lays potato chips and Louisiana Hot Sauce. :flame:
