How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

You'll know straight away when you get the jacket but of all the cafe racer jackets I've handled, these early Cal's are the best by far. I've had two, one I recently sold here... But they're just perfect in every possible way. You'll see. The leather is also something else.

I think I saw that jacket you sold, Looked incredible. It's always straight to the fedora lounge for leather jacket research. We're all on the hunt for that holy grail.

I was a bit surprised to see it to be honest. Cal Leather is a pretty rare beast in general and in the UK especially. I'll be sure to get some pics up when it arrives if I end up keeping it.

Problem is, these old Cal CR's never seem to have a tag and they're, at a first glance, similar to some other, less valued jackets (like for example, Fidelity). So from a sellers perspective, it's hard to claim these jackets are what they are - which is the reason they don't go for as much as what they're worth. But they're seriously the best. One that I have pretty much concluded my CR quest. And it wasn't something I had planned, just that after getting that jacket, I realized there's just no point in looking for another black cafe racer.

Logician, Four month wait. "I really don't mind waiting though as long as I get an awesome jacket!"

I feel the same way. steve p.s. I must have three months to go.
Update. I finally received the jacket on July 3 (last Tuesday). I will post some pics in a few days. Beautiful jacket. My only concern is the Talon #5 brass main zipper. Is it sturdy enough? Only time will tell... I've lubricated all my LW zippers thoroughly as a precaution (#10, #8 and #5). Can't take any chance of having a zipper failed on me.

I'll be wearing my latest jacket on Saturday, all being well: not leather, but rather a navy blue wool Argyle (Kilt) jacket and matching waistcoat.

Excellent. I did the same. Seeing yours, I'm glad I did. Really changes the jacket for the better imho.

I felt the highwayman collar over powered the look of some jackets. The august has sharper angles making it stand out a little as opposed to just taking up room visually. Individually preference only. And I have a big melon on top!!

And thank you for the advice on making sure the rear half belt sat where I wanted it. I have shorter legs but a longer torso and preferred the belt sit at my true waist level. Evens out my proportions better.
