It's great to come home from your travels and find a box of 3 hats waiting for you from your favourite Dutch hat-pusher [emoji4]. So, it was a two hat day today.
The first is a super, soft felt Vanzina Homburg. Truly a much underrated and overseen Italian hat maker in my opinion. This one is pre Borsalino takeover.
The second, a very nice grey Borsalino fedora. It's my first hat with a wind cord. So, along with all the boxes this Borsa ticked, the wind cord was an extra plus.

I'd love to see more pictures of this one. What a beauty. I have a natural in process with Bob right now. 6" x 2-3/4" with a deep diamond crease, similar to yours...

You are so good to your birds, I have neglected my chickadees and Spotted Towhees of late. Have to go out and fill their feeders tomorrow. I won't look as good as you however.Finished dinner. Later I checked the boathouse, cleaned the walkways and filled feeders for the early morning birds wearing a vtg. Stetson Open Road.

I like the colour "opale" as a grey, Mike, but Amiata, Argento or Bismuto would do fine too. The Dobbs looks like it's up to the task just fine.
