Thanks Stefan. Cool is the operative word at 15 degrees F with a fair bit of wind. Probably more ushanka weather here, but I was only outside long enough to check the mail and take the photos. I think this hat may be the nicest felt of any of my hats.

I'm sure that the otter has a different opinion on whom the fish belong to. He just can't afford a lawyer.

I'd say the otter would have a lawyer appointed for him, but since the neighbor still has a stocked pond (ours went away when we lost our dam in a flood) and knows of his comings and goings there might be some frontier justice served up soon. The otter was welcome to all the fish in the creek. He just crossed a line coming into the ponds.

Splitting the day between this well-worn but well-cared-for Stetson Royal Deluxe and this very comfortable Hannah Hats flat cap.
I find the tone of the Stetson to be unusually warm, more yellow than others I’ve seen.

Spent some quality time with my new Jiffy steamer on this one. Hückel Special from the late 1950s. Steamed some pinches
and a nice brim snap. Had to show off my Tonak pin from Jim. Headed out for some supplied while the painters masked off all the insides of the house.
