Greetings All:
Today....i’m being a bit of a protagonist for this particular Borsalino in case anyone out there is struggling with realizing how awesome a hat it is. I love my Borsa’s and would not hesitate to compare felt quality and craftsmanship, attention to detail and most of all their look to any of the finest vintage hats available. This hat is one such example imho.
Felt density and thinness rivals most if not all other hats i have. For a hat with a liner, it needs a wind trolley just to keep it from floating away!! It creases with just a thought. Wish i had one in tan!
Okay, endorsement over. Not trying to start a brand fight, just my opinion.
Be well. Bowen

That is a super looking Borsalino, Bowen. I love all mine, too. Vintage Borsas are hard to beat.

Thanks Steve. That Stetson straw you were showing is pretty cool. I don't think I've seen one like that before.

Still a few raindrops coming down, and a bit of an altered backdrop today. Hanover Square

The greenery is part of a tree that broke off last night and is now partially lodged against my wall. Going to be a pain to clean up.

Crazy weather change. It is challenging to think some folks are unsure of climate change. Back to hat speak - love the pecan and leather combo.

Jay; Looking sharp sir. Grand hat. The pug is a nice compliment to the weave.

Sir, your hat parade of late has been spectacular. Thanks for sharing your hat passion. I do look forward to seeing your hats each day.

Your Playboy is truly a dream hat. It clicks many of the buttons like vent, model, felt hue, decade of manufacturer, condition, embossing and providence. Sincerely a grand hat. Wear ti with pride Alan.

Your hats can not be separated from the glorious Hawaiian backdrop. Cheers! Keep them coming as I am living the tropical dream thru your pics. Aloha.

Excellent! The "pine" felt hue was advertised by Stetson thru the late 40's. I do love this hued felt.

Excellent Mallory goodness!

You never fail to make stingy brims look sharp. Congrats and thanks for sharing your hats.

Excellent "minty" fedora.
Thank you, Eric. Much appreciated. I do look at your hat collection for inspiration (and with a tinge of envy).

Haven’t been in much of a hat mood the last few days, as I had to lay my poor Tasha to rest.
Sitting on my deck without my furry companion this morning, but with my Falcon Park lawless reproduction.
You all look great and are showing some incredible lids.
Thanks for the distraction.

So sorry for your loss, Jeff. Let that sunshine and the shade provided by a great hat sooth your loss as you reflect on the fine times you had with a great hound.
+1 (well said, Greg)

View attachment 168753 I wore my 1950 Stetson OR all weekend and my hats normally get a lot of attention but definitely got a lot more attention this time around. This hat is going to get a lot air time, it's my favourite so far, I feel bad for my other hats. I went to a food event and the photographers and videographers kept coming around.

My favourite moment was when I went into a store, and the store attendant at the entrance went:
Store attendant: DAYUMMM, nice hat. That hat probably costs more than my entire outfit.
Me: probably :p

(LEFT is me getting photographed, RIGHT is me next to an uber tall guy and I just couldn't help it)
It is a fine looking hat and you wear it well. Let me correct that: you rock that hat!
