Terrible feeling. All too familiar, B. Sweat to reed or hat stitch?

It's such a nice day today I took a walk to the store, but not before changing hats. And for a change, I photographed it outside.

Stetson, cream in color with a slight touch of green. This hat just oozes cool.

Well I got my 7X Stetson Open Road finished that I posted last week. I had to replace the SB and sanded out a few shallow moth bites. One hole in the hat I filled, but it is covered pretty well by the ribbon. I decided to reuse the old ribbon even though it has a thread pulled in it, like a run in a stocking, and it has a couple lite stains. But I figured with the moth bites, it would just show it's vintage character. This is such a nice hat even with the moth bites I don't know if I will ever take it off. I've been wearing it in the house I like it so much.

Stetson Raffia, ferry boat ride across the fjord, beach, summer house, youngest daughter with her horse, woodland view, log fire. I think this city slicker is going to enjoy his Danish hygge weekend away [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Yes, sir. What a great setting. Enjoy yourself. Careful with all that brim around the horses, it can take them a bit to adjust to different things.

Some hat collections should just be illegal, right?
