Excellent!
Thanks D.

There's a temptation there, but it's not big enough, Michael.:)
Maybe if I threw in a green hat to boot? Ha ha.

I like a hat that does well brim up style. Very nice in any light.
Some days this one likes brim up, others it doesn't want to cooperate.

Last night I went to hear a couple of solid local bands performing on the ped mall. It was wicked windy on the ride down there. Wore the presumed to be Polish cap.

The wind didn't give it any trouble.

Only one hat on stage last night.

Morning coffee hat, Stetson Austral, scorching under the sun.
This hat is likely to change immediately to something lighter.
I put some sizing foam in it to make it fit, but the hat is heavy and the hand is terrible— probably mostly wool blended with a trace of Buffalo felt (not a Buffalo Trace, unfortunately).
But I like the style and color, and there is something extra comfy about the leather of its sweatband.

+1 to bacon. I like the look of the hat, but hat and bacon kick! Bacon and Hats needs to be a thread, IMO.

Hats at work. As I write this it does remind me an acoustic fingerstyle blues song needs to be written with this theme. Perhaps when the sun starts to tip past the horizon I will be motivated to solve this missing musical need.

A vintage Stetson Playboy (pine green) went to the butcher, liquor, grocery stores this morning. I am grilling some catfish for my dog and I to share. My grilling has me impatiently waiting sipping a stout beer. The hat pairs well with stout. ;)

Our mid 60's f temps have made wearing a felt hat very comfortable this morning.

I am sure that the afternoon will bring different weather and hat choices.

Getting even more use out of my Knox Fifth Ave hat. It's easier to get the right tilt than my other hats for some reason, probably the fit is probably a little better. I thought I'd match the antique aesthetic of the train in my local town from the 40's and shoot some pictures. Let me know what y'all think!
