Wore my late model Premier Stratoliner today. Believe it or not, it has a real soft touch to the felt, is not heavy to wear, and fits really well. My wife loves the Sage Green color. Win Win!!
(now about those jowls, SOOOIE!!)
Happy Friday Y'all!

Great hat color combo Robbie. Much more stunning in direct light.
The modern Premier Statoliner is a fine hat imo.

On my morning walk I wear a hat that Fleur of Penumbra has reworked for me

It is a panama of modest value and construction that has been revitalized by the work of the Dutch hatter.

Today, after two days of absolute rest after a heatstroke that knocked me out, I started to get to the office and take a look at the treasure of felts that arrived two days ago

I was absent, but I took a look every now and then at the parade of hats exhibited here on the lounge.
Congratulations to all and keep it up:)

Daniele; Glad to see your smile sir. This thread is less without your contributions. The re-worked warm weather hat is lovely. Hope to see more smiles in the coming cool weather months.

Sii sicuro, stammi bene . Best, Eric -

Green rules! Love the Stratoliner.

The Eagle has landed. A very small and light yeddo that responded to a little muscle allowing me to wear it.

A nudge to get a 6 3/4 size to fit! Wow. You are the hat whisperer!

Alan, the Eagle yeddo may be trumped by the interior details. A pleasure to see you hats in action-thanks for sharing.

Aloha Friday indeed. And a Wormser on top.

Aloha back to you. Colorful warm weather shirt gives canvas to the Wormser today.

I see your OR, Perry, and I'll match you with a Stratoliner today (indoors, of course, it's too blasted hot outside here in Texas).

Startoliners, IMO, are an everyday hat. I am a thin ribbon fan.

Thanks, Alan. The seller of the hat I showed you yesterday increased the price after I showed interest. [emoji19]

Summer is a perfect time for the Ivy League look.

I have read that the early 1900s saw the very first pink dress shirt – designed by Brooks Brothers – become a hit. It was initially meant to target female students but it caught on more with college guys. Pink is a great summer color for short bald guys I believe. I am not sport'n a dress shirt, but mine is weather appropriate.

The pug and the hat are a match for my Champ which is a "Hand Woven, South American Genuine Panama." Some panama hats are easy to pick-up. Going into the city or driving out to the country, this hat travels well. Warm weather hats, for me, need a substantial leather sweat. The wear and effort of the leather sweat for me increases during the warm weather. You begin with quality leather and end with the everyday careful conditioning/drying of the vintage leather that is needed to "gently" wear a panama. This panama has more decades of wear coming.
