That has a really nice shape to it, Michael. The outfit is outstanding as usual.
Thanks Stefan. I don't seem to get this one out very often. Must be the color.

Today it is a Royal Deluxe Stetson Open Road out in the light rain.

Keyhole size tag, but my feeling is late in the era.

Sounds like rain here more or less all day, so there may be more rain hats coming out if I decide to brave the weather.

Have a good Sunday,
Michael

That is a beautiful Knox. Love the color! Just wondering if you ever make your way into Heimies in St. Paul? I try to get in there a couple times a year. View attachment 185619

I’ve been in there a few times, and found it overpriced and underwhelming, at least for hats, but I did find a beautiful bow tie there.

Good morning. Morning temps in the lower 60's have me enjoying the morning. The dozen or so broad wing hawks that were roosting in the tall trees have just taken to the air and are continuing their southern journey. Birds of prey are not early morning creatures.

I wore a vintage 40's Stetson Flagship (corrected my erroneous morning post that it was a Stratoliner) with a petersham ribbon for a dog soiree.

The second of the trio of hats from Holland and another English product. A Joshua Turner Fedora. Super mat-black colour along with a light weight felt.
Stefan dates it to the late 40s, but with signs of an earlier construction. Who am I to disagree?

Note too, another outside selfie and I've finally worked out how to get the photo image not to be a mirrored one. So now, I'm all on the correct side [emoji4]

Fabulous as usual, Eric. Seems that the petersham ribbon was a characteristic of some of these flagship hats.
