My hats made it back after sitting on my hatter's bench a good year. Happy days. Reason to start wearing them one by one.
But first one I changed the ribbon on myself.

Both are woolfelt hats. They could be done right by the capable hatters of yesteryear.
Two beauties Sir! They look great on you.

Everything about that one is classic, Cuz! Any more info on that jacket around here? Seriously admiring that blanket lining.

Thanks, as always, Cuz. That jacket is the only one I've ever posted 'over yonder' in the denim jacket thread. Lucked out a couple of years ago on this NOS Polo/Ralph Lauren Authentic Dungarees one. It's a Lee Storm Rider clone with selvedge denim and fits like a custom. The Authentic Dungarees line and Polo Western merged into RRL at some point .

Good looking hat Bob! The vents add to the look, along with the pug. Beaver Brand seems to have made a lot of hats for other vendors.

Cool hat Bob. I like the venting.

That is a cool one. Like the vents and the ribbon.

Nice find, Bob. The vents are cool....in more ways than one.

Thanks fellas! I went for it after hearing good things about the one @Wyldkarma has.

7 5/8 LO, Bob?
Or are you faking it?
Looking good either way.

Thanks Steve. The black O/R is a tight 7-1/2, so I am faking it a bit. Thankfully the sweat seam stitches were already popped.

Wearin’ my new Dobbs Fifteen Guild Edge today. Got it from eBay. Unbelievable that no one bid on it, and I’m not complaining.
A 55 model so says the tag, If I’m reading it right. The hat body is so soft, yet sturdy. Best body I’ve ever held (and have several older Dobbs) other than a certain hot brunette I once knew. Unfortunately, I let her slide through my fingers...wont happen with this beauty.

The 55/8 means the crown is 5 5/8" open. Nice score!

Felt like spiffing up for the annual meeting of our local Monteith Historical Society last night. Unknown German maker (PC Habig??) for a famous department store chain, Peek & Cloppenburg. This opera hat is probably from the 1960s as the store logo in the liner is the older style. Just a lot of fun to wear and it really was a show stopper at the meeting!
