Nicely done!

Another beautiful day here, so I was sitting on the patio listening to music and finishing up my ribbon replacement on the Vintage Whippet. Another one with stains that I had to cover up with a 2” ribbon. Had to use Petersham, as that’s all I could find in that width with the color I wanted. Think it turned out pretty good though. I tried to copy a bow I liked that @alanfgag posted on the bows take a bow thread:

Not too bad I guess. I tried to hide the threads on the back side:

Very nice, Tim. Seeing what you, @Randall Renshaw, and others do with these ribbons makes me feel like such a slacker.

An excellent addition to your collection, Steve.

Panos, thanks. It's in good condition for its age. Aren't we all .
I didn't show all this Dobbs' petinas. Bob did when selling it. Bob called it a beater. For me, it was better than a beater. As Randy mentioned a couple of weeks back, they're often one of your favourites.
The sweat band was loose, as Bob mentioned and posted photos of. After wearing it today, it completely fell off.
No worries. This is now a part of this almost 80 year olds patinas. Luckily too, it can be fixed. View attachment 210491

Thanks for your compliments on my Gorasgu Jonathan. It seems though you are always one step ahead ;) Great MacLachlan! I still lack one.
You are too kind, for if it appears that I am ahead it's only because you're about to lap me. It was a lucky break to sneak a Mac Lachlan past Max. That reminds me, I still owe his caddie.

Say that again. My neck of the woods is at a nice 65. I took my Angel Suarez Panama for a walk around the property.

Great hat amigo!

Thanks, Héctor. Yes, second warmest winter on record. I've only had to shovel the driveway once this winter. Not warm enough for straws by any means but it's been pleasantly mild.

Sun came out so sitting out on the patio watching the migrant birds and listening to music in the fairly new to me Dunlap Fifteen. I still can’t figure out what color it is, bit Man, I love this hat. Wonderful moldable clay like felt. I think it might be the Moss Green some people have posted, but it looks different in every light. Tried to get a picture in the Sun, but too much shade around the house with all the trees:

That is a very nice hat. I can see why you like it. Wonderful color and contrasting wide ribbon.

Very nice looking hat, Hector.

With all these Gorasgus posted lately, I just couldn't help myself taking mine out today ;) View attachment 210430 View attachment 210431 View attachment 210432

And some tikka masala to end the day View attachment 210438
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday loungers,
Panos
Beautiful hat, Panos. Great outfits and photos, too. And that is some tasty looking Tikka. I need to make some of that again one of these days.

Tough decision but I'll vote for today's outfit Michael !!
Thanks Panos. Today's jacket is a little more upmarket than my usual finds. Luciano Barbera from about 10 years back.

Thanks,
Michael
