Great lines on that one Stefan. Embrace the Black Hat.....
Thanks, Tim. I'm trying, but can't seem to fit them all in one embrace!

Been outside all day in a semi beater Stetson straw, working on cars, the motorcycle, flowerbeds and sprinkler heads. Straw is in great shape, but the sweat is a little rough.

Ran over something on the bike that ruined my tire I just replaced in the Fall, so already have to get another one. Went with a little more aggressive one for the twisties.

Had some fun with the old tire before replacing it.

Nice hat and cool pics, Tim. Somehow the "flowerbeds" seem a bit out of place in that listing of yours;)

This week I will feature J. Hückel´s Söhne Soft Felt Hats. J. Hückel´s Söhne was nationalized as Tonak after 1945.

This is my final entry. I thought I go with this unique hat that I haven't posted in a while.

J. Hückel´s Söhne "Standard" "Loden", Back Bow, Point 6, Crown 6 inches Open, Brim 2 1/2 inches, NOS condition possibly later 1930s. There could be wool in the mix based on the "Loden" designation. The felt is very pliable and easily takes a dry crease. The finish could be considered “Flamand” which is unshorn Velour hair. The form has a very late 1920s look with a Curled Over Welt Brim. Great looking gold stamping on the Crown Tip Patch and Laced Sweatband.

Fabulous way to end Hückel week, Steve. Everything of fine hatmaking in that last one. Truly outstanding. I am curious what you can come up with for this week.
Super hat, Perry. Love the contrast of ribbon and brim binding with the felt.

Carefully flipping some burgers and things in my VS whiskey. The mask is a fabric the wife got for me. It looked cooler on the website. Different loaves of bread, cuz I’m the bread guy, but in person it looks like a 1970’s couch cover.

It is useless to tell you that I follow you almost every day, you know that we share the same passion for hats.
How needless to tell you that I know this is the wrong place to put a cap and not a hat
Today is the first day of half freedom and I celebrated it by spending my morning at the dentist :(
Hopefully better tomorrow
Very good news that the measures have loosened somewhat, Daniele. And you can easily be forgiven for the cap (you can always blame it on cabin fever). A bit ironic that you had to see a dentist looking like one;)

Thanks Bill. One of my top 5 for sure.

Thanks Stefan. If only they had made this model in blue.

Fantastic looking felt.

Thanks Joe. I enjoyed your month of hats immensely.

Wow, those last two straws are perfect, Bill. But I am glad it's not straw hat weather here, yet.

Thanks Tim. Looks like you were having fun in the straw.

Thanks all,
Michael
Thanks, Michael. Yeah, if only...;)

My favorite patio is back open !!

Funny how we appreciate all these things much more after we had to do without them for a while!

A couple of hats that did not make my last post as they were still uploading to my pic host.

Yesterday I was wearing a vintage Turf Club Royal DeLuxe. Truly this fedora has a lovely felt.

A lovely parade as usual, Eric. Even if it was in two installments.

I think it goes rather well with the hat, Alan. I would go for the hat though if I'd had to choose...

Nice color on that VS Alan. Are those Azaleas blooming in the background ?

Tonight I headed out in a Stetson Playboy in sage.

I got home and have been working on prepping a hat to wear. I have been putting some effort into an unlined gray Stetson Playboy. I have another unlined Stetson Playboy, but this hat is older. The unlined means that this unreeded sweat hat is light and ready for warm and cool weather in my neighborhood.

Hear is the hat.
