Thanks sir. This hat's felt is dynamite. I thought that if I gently rested the brim on the pine bough it might convey how soft malleable the felt is. The clever edge technique really gives the brim edge stability and a resistance that is enjoyable with everyday wearing.

Thanks man! I wish it were actually beaded, but it is just an inexpensive woven band. I agree that it goes well with the hat though!

Santana Essential in Dark Steel. This is not the best quality hat/felt but still, you can't deny the style. AND that leather sweat. IIRC, i believe that Bowen @AbbaDatDeHat has a Santana similar to this.

Dobbs Guild Edge
Brownish Grey with Lavender undertones
4 1/4 crown as shaped
2 inch pewter grosgrain ribbon
1 3/4 brim with guild edge

I love the color of this Dobbs Guild edge. It is a brownish grey that in some lights throws off some lavender or plum undertones. It has a cool little look to it. The oilskin liner says maybe 50s but the manufacturing tag says maybe 60s... so I’d guess late 50s early 60s

My dream hat on my balcony, enjoying a sunny afternoon. Sometimes, when you idealize something you pine for, it turns out it doesn't meet your expectations. This hat exceeds them. The felt is a dream, and the shape is wonderful. I am in awe of it. Easily one of my best hats. I've been wearing one of my go to vintage hats, the Stetson Junior Cowboy for the past two days. Probably mid to late 40's or later. I found the ad, below which unfortunately did not have a date reference.

I'd like to say, you ended Italian hat week(s) on a high Stefan, but every week was a high. This one, as all the others, was an absolute envious joy to see.

The Nobelsca was the standout, if I had to pick one. Gorgeous looking felt.
