Today...back in black. If i had to sell all my hats but one, this one would probably be the keeper. It’s not the highest quality finger felt nor one that creases with just a thought. Far from it. But it is one that i feel that feeling when a hat is just right for you and speaks to who you are in a hat. It doesn’t say “hey look at me” it says “hey this is me”. It’s not the dollars or the elusive museum piece, it’s just...”the hat” that says your name.
Stetson Nutria Quality...the Bowen.

I can see why. I wouldn't let that one go either!

Love it! If that was bigger I could easily see it being “The Bob” (although that sounds more like the name of a stingy).

I was thinking the same thing. Surely one exist out there in a size 7. That would have Ernest written all over it!

Bowen, that’s awesome. I loved this post so much that I thought I’d make it into a thread. No idea if it will take off, but if others would like to show us the hat that says their name, well, here’s the thread: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/the-hat-that-says-your-name.103597/

Spectacular

Thanks sir. I saw the hat sitting on my hat rack and it was begging for an adventure. Seriousely, the hat is dynamite and the color is growing on me.

My favorite blue of The Lounge: it’s always stunning. Thank you for sharing, Eric.
I am fortunate to be able to have this hat on my hat rack. I stumbled upon it quite a while ago and it is always a joy to wear.

Cheers, Eric

Oh my Gary. I am totally humbled and honored by your post. Again, posts like your’s and people like you are what make this Lounge a respite of life. A much needed and much appreciated place to go especially during this seemingly endless time of grave uncertainty for all.
Blessings and safety.

Greetings All:
Today...it’s yesterday’s older brother with his own attitude. He doesn’t say “been there, done that, got the T-shirt”, he says “T-shirts weren’t invented then“.
Stetson Boss Raw Edge Fray sweat.
One of the lowest Lot numbers i’ve seen around here and the most obliging felt because it probably has been there, done that.
Be well and safe.

With Stefan’s @steur Italian week coming to a close this past weekend. I thought it might be fun to start my own little Italian week in his honor. (essentially Borsalino in my case) My little parade will pale in comparison both in size, breadth and stature to Stefan’s fine collection. However after getting a few new arrivals out of the way earlier this week... here is the first entry.

Borsalino Qualita Superiore Nero Black

Tipping the scales at just 64 grams appears to be the very lightest hat in my collection. This Italian made Borsalino appears to have been made for the Gibraltar market.
