Rare this time of year, a cool summer day yesterday in Central Texas with highs of around 83F. It's a good thing I have a great between-season hat for just such an occasion! The Spring Aire Ultralite from Wolfbrae Custom Hatters @belfastboy . A cool hat indeed; unlined, vented, and light-weight.

[Hats Matter]

This is my latest purchase from Optimo. I have posted photos on other threads when it arrived about a week or so ago but today is the first time I have worn it in the real world. This is a Montecristi Homburg with a burgandy ribbon. The photo does not do justice to the ribbon which is very rich in tone. This Homburg grades out as a superfino and was purchased through Optimo's Insider Cellar event.
