J. Hückel´s Söhne "Jota" "Seal Velour" made for the French Market, possibly late 1920s to mid 1930s. Stefan was beyond gracious in making this really fantastic Velour available to me. He brokered a deal with the French seller and packaged + sent the hat to me. I owe him a boat load of gratitude. I wasn't satisfied with the inside photos I took so those will come later. JHS Black Velour Hats are very difficult to photograph properly.

Thank you Jeff. I figure it was meticulously shaped that way and tucked in its box for the last 70 or so years. He even has a strip of poster board tucked inside… I assume to assist in forming that sharp crease. The only thing it needs now is to come out of its box every once in a while… at least for special occasions. A random Friday is special occasion enough right?
