Took the Granddogs to the creek before the expected rains and, with the dip in the temps, I grabbed the just unboxed McDonald’s Select Quality (Manitoba, Canada). With the 5-1/2” crown and 3” brim this ain’t no Happy MealTM toy. Very nice felt — a couple of moth babies would agree.

This mornings walkabout I was under the brim of a blue Manson.

Morning coffee was under the brim of an Adam Pacesetter.

I started yard chores and a couple of errands in an Adam Pacesetter. This hat sold at Hirsch's and has "Executive Quality" felt.

I changed to a Sunbody to do some harder effort yard chores.

I cleaned up and have been enjoying the results of my yard labors. A Newt panama seemed appropriate head gear.

Great hat, but that herringbone coat is fantastic; all the more for the weather that allows you to wear it. I’m trying to not envy.

7/8 matching grosgrain ribbon
2 5/8 brim with matching binding

Really happy with the color of this Champ Feather Weight. Was trying to think what best describes the color.. light cobalt? Bluer Steel Blue. Air Force blue? Cadet Blue?…. And there it was on the box.. METAL Blue

This is the third Feather Weight Champ I have with the Scale logo. The first had two packs of cigarettes on the scale for both the sweat and liner tip…. The second a feather on both. This one has the cigarettes on the sweat and the feather on the tip.

These super lightweight and liner free hats are airy and just the ticket in Florida heat

Hats seem to arrive in threes of late… that must mean there is another…….
